Lego Love.

I love Lego.  I have been a Legomaniac since I was a kid.
In my opinion, there is no better toy in the world.  I still have mine from when I was a younger.
And no, they're not in my mom's basement, they are here, in my apartment in Toronto under the bed.
Here are some of the amazing things online from other people that clearly love Lego too.

There is a group on Flickr of album covers recreated with Lego.  Some of them are really impressive!
I'm trying to think of one that I'd want to recreate...

I created an Etsy treasury of all the coolest Lego inspired things there.

And some more goodies from the web:
And I would love to do this in my own kitchen, but I don't want to give up the blocks!

Any other Legomaniacs out there?

  1. Do you know of Fairview Mall (by donmills station, if you're familiar with the ttc!).
Well if you don't you should get to know it.... They just opened up a lego store... I'm actually going there for a geek-date this friday. Im. So. EXCITED!

  2. My husband is a major AFOL (adult fan of lego) and follows a number of lego blogs. Here is one of the best: http://www.brothers-brick.com/

Lego is awesome. If you ever get the chance to visit Legoland, go!

  3. I love Legos and the pictures are great!
What are you knitting I would love to see :)

  4. Legos are so fun!! I remember being so into them when I was a kid, and I remember my brother in law loving them too...he is much younger than us.

  5. When I moved back to Thunder Bay and was temporarily staying at my folks', I actually threw out a bunch of Lego stuff to make room in my closet. I still regret it.

I haven't found any of those individual Lego Person packs you told me about when I was in Toronto, but I'd really like to get some. You can order them online, I imagine?
