I'm Melanie Godecki, and Smiles From Mel is my personal blog.
It's my little corner of the internet where I share things that I love, including photography, thrift shopping, scrapbooking, traveling, baking, Toronto, crafts and things that make me smile.
I am a photographer, photography assistant and photography student at the moment. I'm striving to improve my photography, establish my photography business and turn what I love into a successful career.
I am originally from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, and live in Toronto right now. In between I've lived in Kingston, Ont. and Cannes, France. I really love to travel.
I started this blog in April 2009, as I moved to Kingston and friends wanted updates of what I was doing. Now it's become a great hobby.
