slowly over the past 6 months I've been finding little treasures while thrift shopping.
here's part 1 of things i did buy - buttons. i usually find 3-4 per adventure.
it was fun to do a colourful little photoshoot with them on today's rainy day.
hope you like buttons as much as i do :)

ReplyDeleteThat's so funny, I was in such a buttons mood today, I got some lovely little wooden heart-shaped ones, they are so cute! I am seriously envious of your collection though, I love buttons. I know someone who is quite scared of buttons, how weird is that?

I used to LOVE playing with buttons as a kid! Why? I don't have the slightest clue...perhaps it was the beginning of my obsession with geometrics.
ReplyDeleteIn any event, if I were ever at your place for dinner, I'd want to play with your buttons (and seriously, not in a sexual way!) :)
Those are some super cool buttons! Did you find them just loose, or on random garments? I ask because I'm making a button pillow for my toddler (to help him learn the process of buttoning), and love how different these are, they look so cool! Stopping by from SITS!
ReplyDeleteMy grandmother used to have a big cookie tin full of buttons, and I could amuse myself for hours just going through and sorting out those buttons. I love these button pics. They're great!
