and today i am heading on a mini road trip with my mom, to duluth, MN.

DIY: how to remove scratches from hardwood floors

i realize this is completely and utterly random, but i have to share this with you.

walnuts. 

they are the secret to removing/buffing out scratches in hardwood floors!

witness the before and after:

oh yeah!  all you have to do is rub a walnut all over it.  apparently the natural oils in the nut will buff out the scratch.  (it worked well enough to please our landlord when we moved)

quick polaroid question

hello!
just wondering if anyone has advice on the best place to buy ''polaroid" film?
i just scored an old camera at a thrift shop, it seems in perfect shape and uses the 600 type film.
i know i can get it through the impossible project, but do you know of other places? (maybe even Canadian ones?)

i am finished the film shoot!

it took my whole month of june and monopolized all of my time.  

and then i moved into a new apartment with a friend - we don't have internet yet  :(

so, sadly, especially for me - i didn't devote a single minute to the list of 2010 goals in the month of june. 

and it's halfway through july already! wow i need to get my but in gear on some of them. 

i do have a few photographic goodies for you blogland lovelies though...

some portraits i did with the wonderful sarah.  she's such a fun and talented gal.
