sunday night jazz

Despite the hideous rainy weather,  Sunday night I had a great time out with my cousin in Nice.

She took me to a teeny tiny jazz bar, which features the same jazz/blues/swing/bluegrass quartet every weekend.  The trombone player was a complete ham for attention! I loved their hats, how the lighting would change every minute or so, and the fact that they played songs from the Jungle Book soundtrack. It also amazes me how accents disappear while singing.

  1. Look for the bare necessities, the simple bare necessities. Forget about your worries and your strife (oh yeah!). I mean the bare necessities, old Mother Nature's recipes that brings the bare necessities of life.

You! (oopedeebee) I wanna be like you (oobedee doobee doobee). I wanna talk like you (oop), walk like you (dee), too! (oobedee doobee doobee)

    hehe... that sounds like fun!
